We believe the first 28 days of life – the neonatal period – is the most vulnerable time for a child’s survival. It is a time when an infant needs the most care, warmth, and attention. Sadly, during and after the neonatal period, many infants are still at a high risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), which is usually caused by inappropriate bed surfaces, soft bedding, sleeping on the side, and sometimes accidental suffocation from bed-sharing.
With our carefully curated baby box and intervention programs, we hope to give every child a chance at survival and reduce the mortality rate of newborns in Nigeria and the rest of Africa
